Snickerdoodles (makes aprox. 30 cookies depending on the size of your cookie scoop)
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup shortening
1 1/2 cups sugar2 eggs
2 3/4 cups flour
2 tsps. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
cinnamon sugar mixture
Directions
- Cream butter, shorting, and sugar until well combinded.
- Add eggs and mix until well blended
- Add flour, cream of tartar, and baking powder until well combined
- Use a cookie scoop to transfer onto cookie sheets
- Roll each ball into cinnamon and sugar mixture
- bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until done
